Terms & Conditions and Rules of Play

Children remain the responsibility of their accompanying parent, guardian or responsible adult at all times.

Jungle Play staff are here to operate and manage the venue but do not provide childcare or individual supervision.

A responsible adult must remain on the premises throughout the child’s visit and actively supervise the children in their care.

Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their children use the equipment appropriately for their age, ability and confidence.

Jungle Play is designed for children aged 0–8 years.

Certain areas or pieces of equipment may have additional age, size or ability restrictions. Please follow all signage and instructions provided by our team.

Adults should only enter the play equipment where appropriate to assist or supervise a child and must take particular care around younger children.

Socks must be worn at all times when using the play equipment. Bare feet and shoes are not permitted within the play structure.

We recommend that children wear comfortable clothing suitable for active play.

Jewellery, badges, sharp objects and loose items that could cause injury should be removed before entering the play equipment.

Please ensure children’s pockets are emptied of any potentially dangerous or valuable items.

To help keep everyone safe:

• Children must use the equipment appropriately and as intended.
• No pushing, fighting, bullying or excessively rough play.
• Children must not climb on the outside of the play structure, safety netting or barriers.
• Slides should be used correctly and children should not climb upwards from the bottom.
• Please be considerate of younger and smaller children.
• Equipment and toys must remain within their designated areas.
• Safety signs and instructions from Jungle Play staff must be followed at all times.
• Jungle Play reserves the right to stop unsafe behaviour and, where necessary, ask a child or group to leave the play area.

Food, drinks, sweets and chewing gum must not be taken onto the soft play equipment.

Food and drink should only be consumed within the designated seating and party areas.

Please speak to a member of staff regarding allergies or dietary requirements when purchasing food.

For the wellbeing of all our visitors, please do not bring a child to Jungle Play if they are unwell or have a contagious illness.

Children who have experienced vomiting or diarrhoea within the previous 48 hours should not attend.

If a child becomes unwell during a session, please inform a member of staff immediately.

Our standard Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to bookings affected by illness.

General admission bookings are for the specific 2-hour session selected when booking.

Please arrive as close to the beginning of your session as possible.

Late arrivals are welcome to join the remainder of their booked session; however, the finishing time cannot be extended and no partial refund will be provided for time missed.

At the end of your session, please leave the play area promptly so our team can prepare Jungle Play for the next group.

Admission prices are displayed on our website and booking system.

Children aged 1–8 years require a standard child admission ticket.

Children under 12 months are charged at the applicable baby admission rate unless attending with a paying sibling, in which case their admission is FREE.

One accompanying adult per paying child is FREE.

Additional adults are charged at the applicable additional-adult admission rate.

All admissions remain subject to availability and our safe operating capacity.

Jungle Play Parties take place during our normal play sessions and do not include exclusive use of the soft play, unless Exclusive Hire has specifically been booked.

Party children and accompanying adults must follow the same Rules of Play as all other visitors.

Party numbers, catering and other requirements must be provided within the timescales requested by Jungle Play.

Exclusive Hire provides private use of Jungle Play for the period stated on your booking.

Our maximum permitted capacity must not be exceeded.

The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all members of their group follow these Terms & Conditions and Rules of Play.

Exclusive Hire does not include catering unless this has been specifically arranged and paid for separately.

You’re welcome to take photographs and videos of your own children during your visit.

Please respect the privacy of other families and avoid deliberately photographing or filming children outside your own group without permission.

Jungle Play may occasionally take photographs or videos for promotional purposes. Where identifiable customers or children are the focus of this content, appropriate permission will be obtained.

Please keep personal belongings with you or appropriately secured.

Jungle Play cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings that are lost, stolen or damaged except where loss or damage results from something for which we are legally responsible.

Soft play is an active physical activity and normal play can involve bumps, trips and falls.

Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising the children in their care and ensuring they use the equipment appropriately.

Please report all accidents, injuries, damage, spillages or safety concerns to a member of staff immediately so we can respond appropriately and record the incident where necessary.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits Jungle Play’s liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

We want Jungle Play to be a welcoming and enjoyable environment for children, families and our team.

Aggressive, abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour towards staff or other customers will not be tolerated.

Jungle Play reserves the right to refuse admission or ask customers to leave where:

• Play is unsafe or excessively rough.
• Children are repeatedly left unsupervised.
• Instructions from staff are ignored.
• Behaviour is abusive, threatening or disruptive.
• These Rules of Play are repeatedly breached.
• Where a customer is asked to leave because of their behaviour or a serious breach of these rules, a refund may not be provided.

From time to time, individual areas or pieces of equipment may need to be temporarily closed for cleaning, maintenance or safety reasons.

Where reasonably necessary for health and safety, Jungle Play reserves the right to temporarily restrict access to equipment.

In the event of an emergency or fire alarm, please follow instructions given by Jungle Play and Newport Market staff.

Children should not re-enter the play equipment or premises until staff confirm that it is safe to do so.

Our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.

For standard play sessions, cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund.

Different cancellation periods apply to Jungle Play Parties and Exclusive Hire. Please refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy before booking.

Jungle Play may update these Terms & Conditions and Rules of Play from time to time to reflect changes to our facilities, operating procedures or legal requirements.

The terms applicable to your booking will be those in place when your booking is made, except where a change is required for safety or by law.
